The goal of a condenser tube's design is to condense process fluid as efficiently as possible from the tube's exterior. Heat exchanger applications are best suited for the use of stainless steel shell and tube condensers. The SS Condenser Tubing is appropriate for use in a number of secondary processes in heat exchangers. These tubes, for instance, are employed in a variety of refrigeration processes, from the evaporator and condenser refrigeration cycle in a chiller to the condensation of steam in surface condensers.
The Ss 304/316l Condenser Coil Tubing is often produced with an O.D. or outer diameter that falls within one of the following ranges: 5/8 inch, 34 inch, and 1 inch. Contrary to the typical dimensions given below, some applications call for the use of a larger O.D. tube. A stainless steel condenser tube used in an ammonia chiller, for instance, has an outer diameter greater than the more common 1 inch. An Ss Seamless Condenser Tube could be processed by using completed either internally or externally in order to increase their performance and efficiency. De-superheating, condensing, and subcooling are the three basic purposes of a condenser.
Due to the Ss 304 Condenser Tubing's high heat exposure, it is essential to utilise the right alloy so that the metal can sustain itself during applications. Therefore, while grade 304 Seamless Condenser Tubes might be the apparent choice for economical reasons, adopting alloy 316 would be a safer bet for applications that necessitate a higher tensile strength and even greater resistance to corrosion. Although Stainless Steel 316l Condenser Tubes are more expensive in terms of cost, using grade 316 is a superior option given its performance and longer work life in the long run.
