Stainless Steel 304 round bar has an austenite crystalline microstructure thanks to the addition of manganese and nickel to its composition. Difference between Stainless Steel 304 bright bar and black bar

In contrast to the black bar, which has no finishing or polishing, the bright bar is a polished or completed metallic bar. Austenitic stainless steel is what is used in 304 material. With 18% chromium and 8% nickel, it is a chrome nickel alloy. If no polishing or finishing is applied when the bar is formed, it appears raw and blackish. Bright bar, electropolishing, galvanising, painting, and zinc coating are a few finishing possibilities. Applications that call for oxidation resistance on the surface as well as aesthetic appeal use bright bars. When the appearance or oxidation are not the main concerns, the black bar is used in structural elements.
