Alloys containing nickel are ideal for use in heat exchangers and other high temperature applications. Their use as a Hastelloy C22 Sanitary Tube is yet another key aspect of their usefulness. Sanitary tubes are designed for uses where a very low to zero tolerance for contamination is required. The food and pharmaceutical industries are two examples of those who employ such tubes. Some chemicals that are used in the manufacturing of finished consumer items may react with tubes that haven't been adequately surface treated.
Chemical buildup over time may result in cracks and eventual failure of the entire piping system. Cold working could result in a better surface finish on the inside and outside of the Hastelloy C22 Cold Rolled Coiled Tube. And when the ASTM B622 Alloy C22 Seamless Tubing is regularly cleaned, the cleaning agents—which are often of an alkaline nature—do not adversely affect the metal. In the creation of oil-based vitamins or supplements, these DIN 2.4602 ERW Tubes play a significant role. The removal of any remaining oil from the Hastelloy C22 Tube's surface requires the application of a strong cleaning chemical in conjunction with a smoother surface.
Cleaning the Hastelloy UNS N06022 Tubing becomes difficult if either the inner or exterior walls are not smooth. By applying mechanical stress to the Hastelloy C22 High Pressure Tube, cold working is typically done below the recrystallization temperature. The UNS N06022 Welded Tube surface, which experiences significant stress, becomes smoother as a result of this stress, which also makes the crystalline structure more durable. The tensile strength of the Alloy C22 EFW Tube also increases without the use of heat.
