Due to its excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, copper is frequently used in the refrigeration and air conditioning sectors. Due to the material's ductility, copper pipe producers in India can more easily build them in a variety of shapes and sizes. Due to their ductility, materials like copper are capable of being easily shaped into wires or copper pipes and tubes. According to ASTM B280, either a hot working or a cold working procedure is typically used to produce a homogenous, uniform wrought construction, such as a copper seamless pipe.
Cold working Copper Water Pipe is best suited for uses that call for qualities like improved dimensional control, greater surface quality, and increased strength. However, it is also recognised that cold treating the alloy will reduce its ductility and corrosion resistance in ASTM B280 Copper Pipe. Copper and its alloys have some of the best corrosion resistance of all the metals. Because they are frequently exposed to moisture and extreme heat, copper pipe suppliers in India also suggest using these pipes in the air conditioning and refrigeration industries.
The Welded Copper Pipe may be hot worked with a lot less power and energy. In contrast to cold working techniques, the ASME SB68 Copper Pipe is not subject to residual strains during the hot working process because heat is used. The UNS C12200 Welded Pipe must meet the requirements of this specification, which include tensile strength characteristics, grain sizes, eddy current, and the cleanness test.
